Pictures tell a thousand words->

The Creole Spirit had rubbed its magic on me, and my colleague felt that I should add another post pertaining to the accommodation in Seychelles. Of course, I know that the last few days had been all talk about Seychelles, but honest to goodness, it is a fantastic place with a blast, a blast from the monotony of city lifestyle. However, there is a twist here, I am going to put up picture views from various hotel resort in Seychelles ....and if anyone who wants to indulge in these secluded hideaways, write to me and I can direct you the way. I am a 24x7 goodwill concierge!

There's a kind of hush .....

All over the world tonight

All over the world

You can hear the sound of lovers in love

You know what I mean

There is nothing better to complement this Carpenter Classic than a visit to the beautiful islands of Seychelles-"not just another place, another world" for the special romantic getaway.

The entire Air Seychelles and Tourism crew are landing down at our office on 20 Oct for an Industry Introduction, and I feel the need to share with our readers on the increasingly popular islands of Seychelles. If you are planning for that special trip, this is it!

Set in the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, with abundant shoals of colorful fishes in their natural "untouched" habitat backed by the perfect blend of white sand beaches, it is the ultimate paradise. Compelled by its rich racial myriad of culture and food, the islands take us far away from the maddening noise of big cities, and the disgusting pollution "enveloping" our lives! If one were adventurous to explore the inner islands, it is an eco-tourism delight of pure private nature sanctuary teeming with exotic wildlife.

Jet-set down to this haven for your wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, or renewal of vows. Even for that impromptu romantic break, one can reach the pristine resort in a snap via national carrier Air Seychelles. Look no further, just bring your champagne!

Know your Rental Car Contracts

If you are one of those people who doesn't like to read fine prints on rental car contracts, you are not alone. Those liability, indemnity, driver declaration, insurance forms at the car rental company are a waste of time especially after a long haul flight, and what's really on your mind is," Please get me out of this airport!"

Courtesy of Alamo Rent A Car, these important details are "winzip" for the readers of this blog, and it's all you ever need to know:

1. Rental Agreement No.
Designated by the Rental Agreement number, the rental agreement must be completed at the rental pick up location and should be carried with you in case you are required to prove you are legally in posession of the vehicle.

2. Car Serial Number
Designates the vehicle rented on the rental contract.

3. Rental Date, Time, Car Rental Station
Shows the date, time, and rental station to return the vehicle in which the vehicle was rented.

4. Return Date, Time, City
Shows the requested date, time, and rental station to return the vehicle without incurring any additional charges.

5. Allowable Drivers
Lists the drivers who are authorized to drive the vehicle. Extra drivers may be added at the time of rental. Additional charges
may apply for additional drivers or underage drivers.

6. Additional Options/Other Information
Lists the additional options that may have been selected, such as, an upgrade of car, personal protection options, fuel options, etc.

7. Charges
Lists the itemization of charges associated with the rental. Charges include the base rate of the vehicle, airport fees, state taxes, surcharges, other governmentally imposed fees, and additional options. A total line shows the balance due. This may be paid by credit card (American Express, Diners Club, VISA, MasterCard, EuroCard). Your signature on the Rental Agreement allows the rental compnay to charge your card with any possible extras at the end of the rental, such as late return of the vehicle. The lead name on the confirmed reservation (the primary renter) must be the person whose credit card is used to pay the charges. If the credit card of another person with a valid drivers license is used, that person will become the primary renter and the original name on the reservation will become an additional driver. Additional charges may be applied for an additional driver.

8. Rental Signatures
Confirms the terms of the rental agreement by all persons listed on the rental agreement.

That's it, your journey starts here.

For that Special need

Even wonder how the "movers & shakers" of the world transmute globally? How the rich and famous jet set? Or how to reach the far corners of the world? Try this, how to reach an oil rig in the middle of the great ocean?

One such request not too long ago, we were asked to provide air transport for the English Premier League Club Chelsea. They were en route from UK to Korea for a much publicised event for their sponsor Samsung. Yes, we are the representative of an elite Air Charter Company known as Hunt & Palmer. We provide solution to all the above and more. No request is insurmountable! Impressive huh, Yes we can! Any of you reading my blog with that "out-of-the-world" request, you know this, who you gonna call? Me!

Etihad Racing In Singapore F1

Our Cargo GSA principal Etihad Airways was in town for Singapore F1. Smell of burnt rubber still lingering in the air with the weekend zipped by at 300km/hr!!

Etihad sponsored Ferrari driven by Kimi Raikkonen came in 10th. Comments from him:

I couldn't do any better. The car was sliding everywhere and I had no grip. In the final part, with the softer tyres, the situation improved a bit, but by then it was too late. I closed up to Nakajima and, a few times, I tried to risk a passing move, but here it's really difficult to overtake unless the guy in front makes a mistake. I don't expect the situation to be much different next week in Suzuka: it is a very demanding track for the car, from an aerodynamic point of view and we are lacking in this area. Having said that, I will be trying my hardest.

Suggest that you use softer tyres for Suzuka as well, Kimi!!!

Time to go Mauritius

Someone left this promotion literature on my table during the weekend which I genuinely feel the need to share, Mauritius anyone?  This pristine beach getaway located at the southwest of the Indian Ocean is up for grabs at SGD$1178 for 5 days 3 nights (free and easy package).  Deal of a lifetime for those who yearn for Sunshine sprinkled with Sea activities topped off with a smorgasbord of tranquil Beaches (pardoned my "congestation overload" in 1 sentence).  Price includes airport tax and fuel surcharges, Sweet!  Honestly, I believe this deal wont last for long.

Cancun, The Way I See It

Monday Blues!!? Nay, more like the Blue waters of Cancun inspires my writing today. The Great Mesoamerican Reef and next to the Nichupte Lagoon system is a fantastic location for water sports such as scuba diving, swimming, snorkeling and big game fishing. I remembered walking along the 14 miles of fine white powdered sand set before the Carribean Sea, what more can I say, salt water never smell this great! No words bring justice to this playground and its activities. Bring your snorkeling gears too! The Great Mesoamerican Reef will not let you down, what lurks below amaze me...I had this opportunity or should I say "near calamity" of an opportunity to come face to face with jelly fishes of "tabletop" size! Phew.

One can never forget the trendy bars and restaurants along the hotel zone, non-stop drinks and endless eating binges made me wonder when I can return to this haven again. Oh yeah, margaritas and more margaritas at Senor Frog (Blvd. Kukulcán Km. 9.5, In front of Chac Mool beach, hotel zone) touted as my most favorite place to chill and have fun. No fuss, no formalities, flip flops, tshirt and shorts, way to go...

Now we know the reason why the hijacker never intended to leave. How to get there? Not telling you now....

What a bummer for Aeromexico!!! Our offline carrier...

The press had a field day with one of our offline carriers Aeromexico. The poor airline, as if H1N1 isnt enough, some crazy fat dude decked on weed, hijack Aeromexico Flight 576 this morning. If you ask me, it must be the potent tequilas that trigger it!! This guy is so high that he thinks Jesus is coming soon!! What's more...he had a revelation that Mexico was facing grave danger, and demanded audience with Mexican Preseident Felipe Calderon, he got B&lls!!

Honestly speaking, and having been to Cancun where this lad boarded the flight, I can gaurantee everyone that it is the intoxicating beauty of this resort, the pungent smell of mexican chilli, the numifying shots of tequilas, and the endless stretch of fine beaches that induce this douche's state of mind, oh man, I actually sympathise with him!! Trust me for a million burrittos, Cancun is actually godsent. I am going to tell you why soon...
